Al Tamimi is one of the fastest growing supermarket chains that set the pace in the retail supermarket business, expanding to over 90 locations.
In celebration of the National Saudi Day on the 23rd of september, Al Tamimi market expressed their pride in how their country empowers its citizens and residents to contribute to the prosperity and building of their Kingdom.
Part of their contribution was through a 1 minute video showing the Saudi Arabia’s national agricultural products with their origins including “تمر خلاص” “رمان بيدة” “فلفل شقرا” and other local products like olives, mango and others.
This 1 minute video tells the world, this story of a little girl and her grandfather who are shopping at Al Tamimi market, how the locally grown products have evolved the basic agriculture society into a regional and global economic power.
Giraffics team took the chance to honor the Saudi National Day by creating this artistic video. We chose the mixed media style; collage and vector shapes so we can show the real picture of every Saudi product and also can produce an artistic video from concept to reality in only 2 weeks of work. We created a composition of real products’ footage and pictures adding dimensions of flavor, textures and colors that brings the various elements of the video together in harmony.
A successful video should engage all the senses of the viewer, as audio could bring your video to life, Al Tamimi market brought “Muhammad Al-Sharhan, who is a Saudi popular narrator, distinguished with the integration of the movement with recitation. This voice Saudi people have listened to since they were little with this style of art that mixed reality with creativity added a lot of nostalgia and credibility to those who have the same spirit of passion and belonging to their country, yet striving to enjoy a creative piece of art.
